Millions of children learn in history-class, that the Egyptian pyramids were build 4500 years ago and used as the final resting place of a pharaoh.
Both historical “facts” are false. The giant monuments (140+ in Egypt alone) on the Gizeh-plateau are much older en were never used as a burial chamber for the pharaoh and his wife.
The famous Sphinx was supposedly build at the same time, but it shows weathering patterns caused by water.
We have to go back thousands of year, to find a corresponding climate. In those days, the Sahara was a fertile plain, with rivers and lakes.
The pyramids in the Nile-delta are related and form a pattern, seemingly mirroring stars. Orion's belt is, according to archeo-astronomers, reflected in the 3 monuments at Gizeh.
