SiTU MEMO 16: IN THE BEGINNING

Quite some time ago, our solar system was visited by a exploring expedition, of one of the first civilisations, which conquered space. The expedition consisted of several spacecraft and was divided into 7 groups. Each were responsible for a certain area of knowledge. Each team did research and collected samples of life-forms, minerals, gasses and liquids of the planet, they had encountered on their journey.
Where their intelligent lifeforms on the planet, then experts started all kinds of social experiments. Presenting themselves as Gods. The experiments were carefully monitored and the results were collected in the 7 Books of Wisdom.
At some moment these Watchers, as they were later named, left, with the promise to return, if the people stuck to "the Plan" (the social experiment they were part of).  This happened on different planets, keeping the people anxious awaiting for their return.
Somehow, somewhere the Watchers got lost or returned to their mother-planet.
On Earth the Watchers built enormous monuments and tunnelsystems in our planet.  They started civilisation as we know it.
They also left hidden information and technology, which, until recently, was not recognised as such. Suddenly the exploitation of space and the development of spacevessels seemed possible. As said before, this happened not only on Earth, but all over the Milky Way and beyond.
